BETH MCGRATH
The creative arts have been a part of my life since childhood. Growing up in a family who encouraged involvement in band and choir, that was the impetus for a life of creativity that unfolded.
After college, I continued my love for music, writing, and creating art. I continued coursework in songwriting, guitar lessons, and acrylic and oil painting. I enjoy teaching mixed media, collaging, and creating stories through art. I have enjoyed creating, collaborating and curating art and music events and shows in our community. Realizing that other art forms compliment each other, I like to incorporate music with art, poetry with painting, and simply exploring creativity outside the box.
Additionally, I have spent many years working with persons with disabilities. I value time working with a broad scope of ages ranging from children to teens and adults.
Additionally, I am excited to be certified in Art Therapy.
Creativity is a gift to be cherished. It’s a gift to create and even more of a gift to share with others. It brings healing, hope, and much joy. I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach and mentor through The 402 Arts Collective. I would enjoy helping you grow in your creativity!
