CLAIRE NOELLE
Hello! I’m Claire, a classically trained flutist and teacher. I’m passionate about music and its overwhelming positive influence on people’s lives.
Performing and teaching are how I share my love for music. I enjoy teaching people of all ages and backgrounds. I strive to teach music in a way that is individual, meaningful, and life-giving. My own experiences with music have given me insight in teaching, learning, forming practice habits, and the perseverance needed to be successful in music in any capacity. Taking private lessons changed my life. I was able to improve and have greater enjoyment in my music. This is why I love teaching and I believe music teachers are vital; whether students are exploring music for the first time, on track to be a professional, or pursuing a hobby.
I have over a decade of musical training and experience. I am a graduate of the Longy School of Music of Bard College, and a current Master of Music Student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. My studies in music performance have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced students. I have received thorough training in music performance, theory, history, pedagogy, and teaching artistry. I am currently a music theory TA at the University of Nebraska.
