ERIK NORDSTROM
I'm Erik Nordstrom, and I'm originally from South Sioux City, NE. I came to Omaha in 2022 to study Vocal Performance at UNO; I soon transferred to Metro to study Audio Video Engineering and will have my associates in August! I grew up in a very musical family, singing from an early age and beginning piano lessons when I was 7. I began lessons with a family friend and was then taught by a college professor at Morningside College up until the end of high school. I studied music theory thoroughly and played styles such as baroque, classical, contemporary, and romantic.
As for voice, I have sung my whole life, but I began receiving training when I started doing musical theater around age 9. I also had voice training when I was at UNO, learning styles such as opera, musical theater, pop, and classical.
I love to teach and give people the resources I have to aid them. I love collaborating and would work hard to make sure everyone I work with reaches their goals and feels comfortable!
