ROMAN CONSTANTINO
With over 10 years in the Omaha music scene, music is what drives, motivates, and inspires me every day. I started playing music around the age of 8 by learning songs I heard by ear on the piano. At age 11 I picked up a guitar because all of the music I grew up with featured a guitar in some way. At 12 I joined the 402 Rock Academy in its inaugural year and fell in love with performing, making it my lifelong mission to spread music wherever I go.
I am a 2022 graduate of UNO’s Music Business program and am currently a member of three active projects in the metro area (Garst, Velvet Velvet, Captain Howdy). I recognize that teaching music is about much more than just technical proficiency, but is about the drive and will to connect to the music around them.
To me, music is a universal language that is understood through active listening and inspiration and honed through instruction and encouragement. This is my mission as an instructor at The 402.
