Ben Shafer is a singer-songwriter, composer and guitarist who has a passion to see the arts community grow in the city of Omaha and the greater Midwest. Ben has spent the last 20 years of his life in the Midwest music scene, traveling as a lead singer in various bands and for his own solo projects as a singer-songwriter. Ben is also the co-founder of the 402 Arts Collective. His passion for reaching out to the community and educating young minds has branched into multiple venues, and continues to grow.
As co-founder and Executive Director of the 402 Arts Collective, Ben spends most of his time facilitating the many artists and their needs as they serve in the various developing divisions of the organization.
Activities he enjoys include spending time with his wife and three boys, writing music, backpacking, camping, and fixing things with his hands.
