Expanding the world of advanced drawing techniques, mastering still life and photorealism, while perfecting concepts like value, proportions, and dynamic composition. Elevating your painting skills with both acrylic and oil mediums, delving deep into color theory, blending techniques, and the interplay of warm and cool tones, transparency, and opacity.

*This is a specialized class designated for the students displaying more advancing skills. Both teens (15+) and adults may be enrolled.
WHAT TO BRING: Students will need to provide their own brush set. All other supplies will be provided.

Class Artist Instructor
I grew up with 6 siblings in an exceptionally creative environment — both musically and in visual arts. I attended a trade school and studied both graphic and fashion arts.
With experience in multiple mediums, including watercolor, acrylics, pastels, pencil, and charcoal, I enjoy incorporating calligraphy in my art to express beauty in the written word further.
My classes bring a variety of creative techniques to manipulate paint: intermingling the use of balloons, Q-tips, cardboard, salt, and hot glue with traditional paint and brush. I also take great joy in the creation of “confectionery” arts.
I create cakes, cookies, and candy that are not only beautiful but delicious. In my free time, I love hanging with my husband Todd, my three daughters, and my grandkids. If you want to learn more about visual arts or painting, register for private lessons or sign up for one of my group classes.
