SUSTAINABLE ART: CARD REPURPOSING
Have a bunch of cards from holidays, birthdays, and other celebrations, that you have a hard time letting go of? I know I do. Join me for a class on how you can create new cards while saving the sentimental notes within them. Carefully cut out designs and patterns you like from your old cards while keeping any personal messages safe. Use these old cards to create new cards that you could then give to others. Not only can this method be used to give cards a second life, you can use parts of the cards towards art collages, scrapbooking, mood boards, and school projects.
You will leave with a new understanding of sustainable art, a new card, and possibly some scraps for future sustainable art. Save money on cards, help the planet, and free up some space in your place!
