Toon-Up! Caricature Drawing Workshop

Unleash your creativity and bring faces to life in this fun, hands-on caricature drawing workshop! Learn to exaggerate and express the unique qualities of a human face in a playful, cartoon-like style. You’ll master the 5 essential steps of cartooning people—whether from photos or live models:

  • See – Observe facial features and key characteristics

  • Breakdown – Simplify complex forms into basic shapes

  • Secondary Shapes – Add details for personality and expression

  • Variation – Experiment with exaggeration to enhance likeness

  • Wrap-Up – Refine and complete your caricature

By the end of this workshop, you’ll gain confidence in your artistic skills and develop a new appreciation for the unique facial structures of those around you. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, this class will help you elevate your cartooning abilities and have a blast doing it!
