The 402 “JUST TRY IT” Event
You're invited to join us for a day of creativity and music at 402 Lesson Studio on May 18th from 10am to 2pm. This is an opportunity for everyone to explore and experience a wide variety of art forms and musical instruments.
At our open house event, you'll have the chance to try out any of the art forms or musical instruments available in our facility. Whether you're interested in painting, drawing, sculpting, or playing the piano, guitar, drums, or any other instrument, we have over 15 different options for you to explore.
Our artist instructors will be available at each station to guide and assist you, ensuring that you have a fun and enriching experience. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, our open house is open to all skill levels.
Come and discover your passion for the arts, learn something new, and have a great time in our welcoming and supportive environment. We can't wait to see you there!

All Instrument - Summer Instrument Lab

DESCRIPTION:
Join us for an engaging and interactive All Instrument - Summer Instrument Lab designed for anyone age 6 to 12! This two-hour session, held on Saturday morning, offers a fascinating overview and survey of a wide variety of musical instruments.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the diverse sounds and characteristics of instruments such as drums, percussion, strings, woodwinds, and brass.

Brass - Summer Instrument Lab
DATE: Saturday, July 13th, 2024

DESCRIPTION:
Elevate your brass playing to new heights at our Brass - Summer Instrument Lab, designed for early and intermediate players on trumpet, trombone, French Horn/mellophone, baritone/euphonium, and tuba! This two-hour Saturday morning session, tailored for ages 11 to 16, promises an engaging and fun-filled exploration of the brass family.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own brass instrument(s) from home, as they delve into the world of brass ensemble playing. Simple brass ensemble pieces and arrangements will be provided at the workshop as well as emailed in advance, offering an opportunity for players to collaborate and create harmonious music together.
In addition to ensemble playing, participants have the option to showcase their individual talents by performing a 2-3 minute solo piece on their brass instrument. This optional solo segment allows players to share their musicality with fellow participants in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Philip Daniel - Live Show + Workshop
Local Nebraska Pianist and composer, Philip Daniel is offering a unique opportunity to come to hear him in a live performance on Saturday evening at the 402 Arts Collective - Benson Location and Hardy Coffee Co. With the purchase of a ticket comes the opportunity to attend an afternoon workshop before the concert (3 pm) $10 tickets if you purchase online before the show, $15 at the door

The 402 Arts Collective is turning ten years old as an organization, and we want to celebrate with all the people who have made it truly a remarkable season. It’s all happening at the Omaha Community Playhouse in Omaha, NE on Sunday April 3rd. We are sending out an invite to all the hundreds of artists, musicians, former students, current students, relatives and any anyone else who wants to come help us celebrate these past ten years of positive impact in so many lives.

This year we are offering a very unique experience for your 6-12 year old creative artist. This class is only going to be offered once this summer so don’t miss it. Each student will be taught how to play the ukulele and use acrylic paints. Snacks are provided and plenty of entertainment. Our wonderful Artist Instructor Members, Andrea and Lilly will make sure your student not only has a blast, but learns a lot!
