WATERCOLOR & ACRYLIC PAINTING FOR ADULTS
Participants will learn basic techniques of each media with overlapping principals of color theory, values, and dynamic composition in this 8 week painting class. The first 4 weeks will focus on exploring watercolor techniques. The last 4 weeks focus on exploring acrylic painting techniques. A celebratory event will be held at the completion of the class to celebrate the various works created by each participant.
COST: $220
WHEN: MONDAYS, 3:-00pm-4:00pm
AGES: 15-99+ (While this is considered an adult class, participants 15 y/o and above may enroll!)

Class Artist Instructor
I grew up with 6 siblings in an exceptionally creative environment — both musically and in visual arts. I attended a trade school and studied both graphic and fashion arts.
With experience in multiple mediums, including watercolor, acrylics, pastels, pencil, and charcoal, I enjoy incorporating calligraphy in my art to express beauty in the written word further.
My classes bring a variety of creative techniques to manipulate paint: intermingling the use of balloons, Q-tips, cardboard, salt, and hot glue with traditional paint and brush. I also take great joy in the creation of “confectionery” arts.
I create cakes, cookies, and candy that are not only beautiful but delicious. In my free time, I love hanging with my husband Todd, my three daughters, and my grandkids. If you want to learn more about visual arts or painting, register for private lessons or sign up for one of my group classes.
