CHARLIE ALLEY
Hello, my name is Charlie Alley. I am a music instructor and seasoned performing musician with over a decade of experience. I have released multiple acoustic albums and have performed thousands of loop station performances across multiple countries. Loop station performances consist of creating entire musical arrangements using multiple instruments live on the spot. This requires a vast understanding of musical knowledge and is only successful when combined with the creative freedom of "play".
My teaching approach centers on empowering students by expanding their musical vocabulary and knowledge. I believe every song holds a musical puzzle waiting to be unraveled, and my real-life application of music theory emphasizes this in every lesson. We're not just learning songs; we're building a foundational understanding of how music works, fostering creativity and empowering students to explore their own musical journey.
Music can be a friend that accompanies us through life, but understanding how to perform with others is what truly connects us to the world of music. My ultimate goal is to give students the foundational musical knowledge that will allow for the ability to explore "play" on the guitar and to allow them to create music.
