CONNER HOLBEN
Ever since my introduction to musical theatre at a young age, I’ve been captivated by the magic of performance. My journey began in the choir and flourished through high school show choir, where I honed my craft and discovered my passion for the stage. After earning a bachelor's degree from Graceland University in Theatre/Music in 2023, I have been expanding my horizons and seeking greater opportunities in professional theatre.
My dedication has led to notable roles, including leading and supporting parts in productions such as Chicago, Rocky Horror Show, BKLYN: The Musical, Cabaret, Hello, Dolly!, and The Play That Goes Wrong. I am particularly proud of the experience I’ve gained at the Omaha Community Playhouse, where I have performed in acclaimed productions such as Cabaret, Hello, Dolly!, and Jersey Boys.
In addition to my work at the Playhouse, I serve as an Actor-Educator with RESPECT, a program that uses educational theatre to teach essential life lessons to K-12 students. Through engaging workshops and 20-30 minute plays tailored to different age groups, we address themes that resonate with young audiences, combining my passion for performance with a commitment to impactful education.
When I’m not lighting up the stage or captivating an audience with my theatrical performances, I’m out living a life brimming with diverse passions and pursuits.
As a singer/songwriter who tours locally, my creativity and talent extend far beyond the spotlight, resonating through my music and connecting with fans in intimate, personal ways.
Outside of music, I have a deep love for fishing. I love a good fight, especially when it's coming from a Largemouth Bass.
Fitness also plays a crucial role in my life. I'm committed to staying in top physical shape through weightlifting, pushing my limits, and building strength both physically and mentally.
I also indulge in playing guitar and piano, enjoying the creative freedom and emotional expression these instruments afford.
My enthusiasm for horror films/novels is another facet of my vibrant personality too. As a fanatic of this genre, I tend to revel in the chilling narratives and spine-tingling suspense that span across decades.
Each passion I pursue, from fishing to fitness to film, weaves into the tapestry of who I am, enhancing my artistry and personal fulfillment.
