MONTE D. MONTELEAGRE

I am a writer, director, producer, musician, composer, and photographer Omaha, NE who wants to help you explore your creative side, sharpen your craft, and make the kind of art you want to see in the world.

I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Studies and a Minor in Music and spent five years in New York City making art, music, and theatre before deciding to move back to my hometown.

My playwriting has been produced live with Equity Library Theatre, the Cut/Edge Collective, The Secret Theatre, Bad Mouth Theatre Company, and more. I’ve produced digital work with Rouge Theatre Festival, Caravan Theatre, and with my own production company Wolf Mountain Workshop. I am lucky to have directed and produced many of the shows I’ve written.

My music and compositions can be heard in Wolf Mountain Workshop’s audio fiction podcasts inc: The Podcast and Tales From Wolf Mountain. In my photography practice I’m honored to have been asked to assist with film photography at my friend’s weddings.

I am excited to share the things that I’ve learned and discovered with you, and to discover even more along the way.

I’m also thrilled to offer classes and coaching as a Performance Coach through the 402 Acting Academy! Theatre is a passion of mine, and I’m here to support actors of all ages on their journeys in stage, screen, and life. Visit my page on the 402 Acting Academy website to explore all my current offerings!
