Creating has been a passion and way of life since I was a child when I was given creative permission from my artistic grandmother. She opened my eyes to exploring with imagination! Even now as an adult, play and discovery are some of my treasured companions.
My work has included contemporary portraits, abstracts, landscapes, and florals. Watercolor, mixed media, acrylics, oils, charcoal…I love them all and try to incorporate creativity into my life every. single. day.
I have been an Artist and Instructor for 15+ years and have taught classes to budding artists across the country. Maybe you’ve seen my artwork in local galleries, art fairs, or art events.
My husband and I love to hike, travel, hang out with our 3 grown children, and play with our Corgi, Brady.
We aim to instill in students an understanding that being an artist is a way of engaging with the world and oneself and that creative expression makes the human experience richer.
