Trevor Slachetka
I am a guitarist, bassist, producer, audio engineer, and vocalist with extensive experience performing in both Omaha and New York City. Music has always been my passion, and I've spent years honing my craft onstage, bringing energy and emotion to every performance. Beyond playing, I love sharing my knowledge with others, which is why teaching has become such a fulfilling part of my journey. Helping students develop their skills and confidence—whether in music or beyond—is something I truly enjoy.
My background includes working at The Brearley School in Manhattan, where I gained valuable experience in education. Before that, I performed across various venues, from intimate jazz clubs to larger stages across numerous genres, always striving to connect with audiences. Now, as I transition back home to Nebraska, I'm excited to continue making music, mentor aspiring musicians, and explore new opportunities in the industry.
When I'm not playing or teaching, you can usually find me seeking out great live music or digging into new gear to perfect my sound. Music isn’t just what I do, it’s who I am, and I'm incredibly excited to share that with you!
