Meet Conner Holben: A Passionate Performer and Multi-Talented Instructor

At the 402 Lesson Studio, we are thrilled to welcome Conner Holben, a dynamic artist whose love for performance and teaching shines through in everything he does. With a background deeply rooted in music and theatre, Conner brings a wealth of experience and a contagious enthusiasm for the arts.

A Journey to the Stage

Conner’s passion for performance began at a young age, ignited by his introduction to musical theatre. From early choir experiences to his high school show choir days, Conner quickly found himself captivated by the magic of the stage. His commitment to the craft only deepened as he pursued his education, culminating in a bachelor’s degree in Theatre/Music from Graceland University in 2023.

Since then, Conner has flourished as a performer, taking on leading and supporting roles in notable productions such as Chicago, The Rocky Horror Show, Cabaret, BKLYN: The Musical, Hello, Dolly!, and The Play That Goes Wrong. His time at the Omaha Community Playhouse has been especially meaningful, where he’s graced the stage in critically acclaimed performances like Cabaret, Hello, Dolly!, and Jersey Boys.

Bridging Theatre and Education

In addition to his impressive stage work, Conner is committed to using theatre as a tool for education. As an Actor-Educator with RESPECT, a program designed to teach essential life lessons to K-12 students through interactive theatre, Conner combines his love for performance with his desire to make a positive impact. He facilitates engaging workshops and delivers 20-30 minute plays that address age-appropriate topics, providing young audiences with both entertainment and valuable insights.

Beyond the Spotlight: Diverse Passions

When Conner isn’t lighting up the stage or leading workshops, his creativity and talents spill into other pursuits. As a singer/songwriter, Conner tours locally, sharing his music with fans and building meaningful connections through his performances. His passion for music extends into his personal life as well, where he enjoys playing guitar and piano, appreciating the emotional expression these instruments offer.

But Conner’s interests go far beyond music and theatre. He has a love for fishing, particularly the thrill of catching Largemouth Bass, and relishes the challenge of a good fight on the water. He’s also deeply dedicated to fitness, pushing himself through weightlifting and embracing both physical and mental strength.

A self-proclaimed horror fan, Conner’s enthusiasm for horror films and novels is another facet of his vibrant personality. Whether diving into the chilling narratives of classic horror or exploring new works in the genre, Conner finds inspiration and excitement in the suspense and thrills of these stories.

Conner’s Impact at the 402 Lesson Studio

With his broad range of interests and expertise, Conner is more than just a talented performer—he’s a passionate educator and a well-rounded individual whose varied experiences enrich his artistry. At the 402 Lesson Studio, Conner is ready to inspire the next generation of performers, helping students explore their creativity, build confidence, and hone their skills.

We’re excited to have Conner as part of the 402 Lesson Studio family and can’t wait to see the amazing impact he will make on his students. Welcome, Conner!
