Mixed-Media Winter Landscape Painting
Students attending this two-hour guided workshop will be using both acrylic and water-soluble oil paints to create this finished 11"x14" winter landscape painting on stretched canvas. We will start the morning with a quick sketch on the canvas. Our first layers of paint will result in a complete acrylic underpainting to establish large sections of color, values, and background elements. Our finishing touches and final blending techniques will be achieved with water-mixable-oil paints. All materials and hands-on, step-by-step instructions will be provided by instructor Amy Webster. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome!
