Learn the Art of Water-Mixable Oil Painting
In this 4-week class, students will explore the fundamentals of painting with water-mixable oils—a versatile and eco-friendly alternative to traditional oil paints. Whether you’re a beginner picking up a brush for the first time or an experienced artist looking to expand your skills, this course offers a supportive and creative environment to grow.
Each student will have the opportunity to choose their own subject matter—landscape, still life, portrait, or abstract—as inspiration for a completed 11” x 14” painting. With personalized guidance and step-by-step instruction, you’ll learn essential techniques in composition, layering, color mixing, and brushwork specific to water-mixable oils.
By the end of the course, you’ll walk away with a finished piece you can be proud of—and the confidence to continue exploring this rewarding medium on your own.
