SKETCHBOOK SERIES - DYNAMIC FIGURE DRAWING
This class is designed for artists of all levels who want to bring life and energy into their sketchbooks. Students will explore gesture, proportion, movement, and anatomy through quick poses and studies, building confidence in capturing the human figure. The emphasis will be on loosening up and developing expressive marks rather than producing rigid or overly detailed work.
We’ll work primarily in pencil, pen, and markers, with optional use of charcoal for depth and impact. Each session will include guided warm-ups, timed drawing exercises, and demonstrations of techniques for creating dynamic lines and confident compositions. By the end of the series, students will have a sketchbook full of expressive figure drawings that showcase growth, experimentation, and personal style.
