DESCRIPTION:
The “Summer Instrument Lab Series - For Youth” is a fantastic option for anyone that is between the ages of 6-14 who is looking for something creative to do this summer on a Saturday morning. Artist Instructor, Nate Becker is holding a brand new series of labs (2-hour workshops) for various instruments in a group class setting.
COST: $35.00 (per 2-hour lab)
$35.00 - Ages 6-15 |*Specific age ranges may vary per Lab Session - details listed within each Instrument Lab description.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Participants/Students are encouraged to bring their instruments from home! If you do not have an instrument, we can help with that! Let us know if you will need an instrument to play during the lab.

Class Artist Instructor
I want students of all ages and backgrounds to grow as human beings AND as musicians while I have the privilege of teaching them. I have been involved in music and music education for most of my life. I graduated from Taylor University in Indiana in 2002 as a Music Education major, majoring in piano, minoring in trumpet, and being exposed to both band and choir as well as several other instruments, music courses, and ensembles. I have been teaching music ever since!
My first instrument is a piano/keyboard at any level and style. I also teach brass (eg. trumpet, French Horn, trombone), drums and percussion, woodwinds (eg. recorder, saxophone, clarinet), and some string instruments like guitar, ukulele, and even beginning violin.

Join us for an engaging and interactive All Instrument - Summer Instrument Lab designed for anyone age 6 to 12! This two-hour session, held on Saturday morning, offers a fascinating overview and survey of a wide variety of musical instruments.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the diverse sounds and characteristics of instruments such as drums, percussion, strings, woodwinds, and brass.
