For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for fine arts. In my early elementary days, I was constantly recreating art I found online and making it something special of my own. I later fell in love with music throughout high school and was involved in my school’s show choir and music honors society while also continuing my passions in fine art.

It was no surprise to anyone that I continued my dedication to fine arts in college. I am currently attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and completing my 3rd year of undergraduate school in the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts as a fine arts major. Here, I get to explore a multitude of different mediums and ways to create visually meaningful pieces.

I'm excited to be part of this program, where I can share my passions and give others a glimpse into my process. I'm grateful for the opportunity to explain what drives me and why this work holds such deep meaning for me.

I love working with oil paints the most and especially enjoy painting as realistic as I can. I thoroughly enjoy matching skin tones and creating depth through shades and highlights, and even exploring this through painting black and white.
